Walking Together for a Cause: Supporting Sarah’s Circle

For the fourth year in a row, our team was proud to participate in Sarah’s Circle’s “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” Winter Walk, an inspiring community event dedicated to supporting women experiencing homelessness in Chicago.

Sarah’s Circle is a local nonprofit organization committed to helping women achieve safety, stability, and permanent housing through supportive services, shelter, and community programs. Their work addresses not only the immediate needs of women experiencing homelessness but also the long-term support required to rebuild their lives. The Winter Walk event is a one-mile journey through Uptown “in the shoes” of a woman experiencing homelessness. Participants hear the real life experiences of their clients and learn about how Sarah’s Circle supports them.

Our team showed up in a big way this year. With 17 team members, clients, and friends walking together at the event, we raised over $3,000 to support Sarah’s Circle’s mission to end homelessness for women in Chicago. It was a beautiful day filled with energy, community, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

At IRPINO Real Estate, we believe that housing changes lives. Events like this remind us that while we help people find homes every day, access to stable housing is not guaranteed for everyone. Supporting organizations like Sarah’s Circle is one way we can give back to the community we care so deeply about.
