A Video Dedicated to Rosalie “Chris” Irpino
We are back in February with one of our most special videos to date. This video is dedicated to Dominic’s mother, Rosalie “Chris” Irpino. This month we visited Hunan Egg Roll King, a local Chinese restaurant that has been near and dear to the neighborhood (for decades!) and to the Irpino family. For over 20 years Mrs. Irpino visited this local spot weekly to eat their delicious wonton soup but also to visit with owner Lisa Mak who grew to be a close friend of Chris. It was one of her favorite places to go for both the food and the friendship. Thank you to Lisa and her husband for being such dear friends to our mother over the years, you will forever be a part of our family. And if you haven’t tried their food, visit them today at 4202 N Broadway and try the soup in honor of Chris Irpino, or Dominic’s favorite, the beef and broccoli.
And with that, we dedicate this to Rosalie “Chris” Irpino, November 16, 1937 – January 16, 2023.
