Celebrating 30 Years of Hopleaf in Andersonville, Chicago
In August we visited Hopleaf (5148 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60640), a very well-known bar and restaurant that specializes in Belgian beer. Sitting on the Uptown / Andersonville border, Hopleaf has over 60 beers on tap and over 100 beers in bottles and an incredible food menu (try the mussels!). We sat down with Founder & Owner, Michael Roper to congratulate them on their 30th anniversary which took place this year, and to learn more about the bar and what he would recommend in terms of choosing a beer from their extensive selection.
