This September we headed north to Argyle Street in Uptown to visit a restaurant that opened earlier this year and has already been recognized by several media outlets as one of the best new restaurants in the city. And it’s the only place in the city to get delicious, fresh and authentic Chilean empanadas. Meet Don Pablo’s Kitchen & Bakeshop (1007 W Argyle St.) We sat down with Chef Pablo Soto who owns the restaurant along with his wife Julie to learn more about what makes Chilean empanadas unique and why they chose Uptown to open their restaurant.
