Founded in 1892 and anchored on a 372-foot former icebreaker since 1983, Columbia Yacht Club offers members and guests unmatched views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. It’s a place close to Dominic’s heart—he’s been a member for quite some time and it has become one of his favorite spots to unwind with family, friends and clients. We sat down with General Manager Nick Philip to learn more about this historic floating club, their iconic margaritas, vibrant sailing school, and why Columbia Yacht Club is truly one of Chicago’s hidden gems.
