Local Business Spotlight: Carol’s Pub in Uptown, Chicago
Posted by Dominic Irpino on September 22, 2020
IRPINO Real Estate Presents our Local Business Spotlight series featuring local businesses in Chicago’s Uptown and Buena Park neighborhoods.
A Legendary, Chicago Honky-Tonk Bar
This September we visited the legendary Carol’s Pub (4659 N Clark St.) right here in Uptown, Chicago. Originally opened in 1972, this bar has been a Chicago staple for years which is why when they closed their doors 4 years ago, Managing Partner Ed Warm and his team stepped up to keep the legend alive. They gutted and rebuilt the place but still honored Carol’s past of being Chicago’s last great honky-tonk bar and reopened the doors in December of 2018. Watch our interview with Ed to learn more about the pub and if you haven’t already MUST try one of their amazing Chicago burgers. Oh and did we mention they have an Old Style + Malört special every day for $6?!
Special thanks to our partner QHI Media for helping with all our video needs.
