A Local Uptown Restaurant Bringing the Flavors of La Barca to Chicago
In April we visited Birrieria Zaragoza at 4800 N Broadway, which has quickly become one of Dominic’s favorite restaurants. He is a very frequent customer! We chatted with John Zaragoza, the owner of Birrieria Zaragoza which opened last year in the heart of Uptown. His family run business began with their location in Archer Heights and expanded to Uptown in 2023. His goal is to bring the unique flavor of birria, which is goat, to Chicago and we can’t thank him enough for doing so. The food is absolutely amazing – you’ve got to try it!
