Posted by Dominic Irpino on February 12, 2022

We are so excited to provide you with something of significant value — our 2021 Annual Report for the Chicago Real Estate Market.

Here at IRPINO Real Estate in Chicago, we are proud to not only be your local Uptown, Chicago real estate broker, but also a knowledge broker providing helpful information about the state of the market. Our 2021 report, which you can get below, includes both Chicagoland data as well as local data here in the Uptown neighborhood.

Enter your information in the form below to receive your copy of the report directly in your inbox.

Our Best Year Ever

Through all the ups and downs over the past few years, we are grateful to have had our BEST YEAR EVER with the opportunity to help 81 people buy and sell homes. We also welcomed new brokers and team members to the IRPINO Real Estate family, continued our Local Business Spotlight Videos for the 4th year in a row, and we continued to give back to charitable causes this year through a backpack drive for our local school, Brennemann Elementary School, a team volunteer day at Lakeview Pantry, and we made a sizable contribution to The Honeycomb Project. We look forward to continuing this work into 2022 and beyond.

The 2022 Chicago Real Estate Market

Although there are some unknowns going into the 2022 real estate market, there is one thing we are certain of: It is more affordable to own than it is to rent in the majority of the country. Yes, interest rates are starting to rise slightly, but they still are low. Housing prices are increasing, but so is rent. In fact, rents are skyrocketing. All of these factors combined, make it the perfect time to buy your first home. And the higher home prices make it a great time to sell your current home too.

“With more housing inventory to hit the market, the intense multiple offers will start to ease. Home prices will continue to rise but at a slower pace.” – Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist, National Association of Realtors

If you or someone you know is looking to Buy, Sell, or Invest in Real Estate in 2022, or if you’re interested in your home’s current market value, feel free to contact us and we can help!
