Helping to End Homelessness for Women in Uptown, Chicago and Beyond

On Sunday, February 26th, our Brokerage gathered with about 300 other people at Uplift High School in our neighborhood of Uptown, Chicago to attend the Winter Walk: A Mile in Her Shoes event from Sarah’s Circle.

Raising Money for Women Experiencing Homelessness

For over three decades, this event has highlighted the harsh reality of women’s homelessness during the deadly cold of Chicago’s winters. Sarah’s Circle leads the charge in Chicago in the fight to end homelessness for women in the city. Our brokerage raised over $4,000 for the organization and as a whole the event raised over $215,000.

It was a cold, inspiring and powerful day learning more about the work their organization does and walking a mile throughout Uptown while hearing stories about the lives they have touched over the years.
